Meet your Instructor

Hi! I'm Ms. Katie and I love being a swim instructor at Swim Lesson People. I've always loved working with kids and have a passion for teaching water safety. In addition to SLP, I worked as a lifeguard and babysat.

I will be attending Tarleton State with the goal of earning my degree as a Child Life Specialist with an anticipated graduation of Spring 2026. I previously studied at Weatherford College as an Elementary Education major. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of swimming with your children at SLP. See you in the pool!

Certifications Achieved:

  • Swim Lessons University Instructor
  • United States Swim School Association Preschool Instructor
  • American Red Cross CPR/ AED and First Aid
  • Adaptive Swim Whisperer- Level 1

Perpetual Private Lessons

  • 30 minute lesson meets once per week
  • $300 per month tuition
  • Private Lessons are available for swimmers ages 2 and up. Younger learners are sometimes not ready to be away from parent for such and extended time just yet in the water.

Private Lesson Drop-Ins

  • 25 minutes of 1-1 instruction
  • Ages 2 and up
  • $85 per class (multi-class discount available)
  • 24 Hour cancellation notice required for reschedule
