Meet your Instructor
Hey swimmers, I am Ms. Mia and I have been teaching with SLP since October 2022! I am currently working on getting my EC-6 Education degree at Weatherford College, and then I plan to teach elementary special education. I am a Level 2 Swim Whisperer certified through Swim Angelfish, and I love teaching our SNAP classes. I like to start class with a song for all of my younger kids and want to help all of my kids love swim lessons!
I am originally from Colorado and moved to Texas is 2021. Outside of going to school and teaching swim lessons I love to read, go to the lake, and hang out with my family.
